Individual Therapy
Together, we turn insight into action, honoring your wisdom while opening new paths for growth and connection.
A collaborative process
The shape that therapy takes will depend on your goals, needs, and personal preferences. Our work together is collaborative, with the goal of creating a process that feels both meaningful and effective for you.
This might look like talk-based exploration of patterns in your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships; guided visualizations to connect you with your body and its wisdom; or an investigation of how cultural, systemic, and generational forces have shaped the challenges you’re facing today. Depending on your needs, therapy may also include developing practical strategies for navigating daily stressors, building resilience, and fostering self-compassion.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that you are the expert on your own experience. I trust your inner wisdom more than anything I’ve read in a book, and I see my role as supporting you in accessing and amplifying that wisdom. While I will offer insights and guidance from my training and experience, I will always honor your perspective as the most important voice in the room.
FAQs
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
1
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about your next steps in life, therapy can be a helpful space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns. You don’t need to have all the answers—or even know exactly what you want to change—to benefit from therapy. It’s a collaborative process where you set the pace, focus on what matters most to you, and access support and guidance to better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and build the life you want.
Can therapy help if I’ve tried it before without success?
2
Absolutely. Just because past therapy didn’t feel effective doesn’t mean it can’t work for you now. Every therapist and approach is different, and sometimes it takes finding the right fit or a method that resonates with your needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we can explore what hasn’t worked in the past, build on what has, and create a supportive space where real understanding and change can happen.
How do I know which type of therapy I need?
3
There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy—what works best depends on your goals, personality, and the challenges you’re facing. In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are and tailor the process to your needs, blending insight, practical strategies, and experiential exercises. You don’t need to figure it out on your own; part of therapy is discovering the approach that feels most supportive and effective for you.
Do you use AI in therapy?
4
No. I do not use AI in therapy sessions or in any aspect of your clinical care. Therapy is a confidential, human process, and everything shared in session remains private and protected. Your care is guided by my training, experience, and our direct work together, not by automated tools or technology. Creating a safe, trusting, and confidential space is central to my work.
